POSITION
DESCRIPTION
Fagen Engineering LLC, a full service Engineering firm, is seeking a Field DCS Technician to assist in the commissioning of the Distributed Control System in several power plants. This position will require traveling to and staying at current and future projects for an indefinite period of time.
Requirements
-
Must possess a variety of skill sets necessary for the safe check-out and start-up of plant systems.
- Extensive knowledge of distributed control systems, with demonstrable practical experience.
- Familiar with instrumentation, control valves and other industrial control hardware
- Previous power plant commissioning experience preferred
- Able to work in a multi-discipline team environment
- Able to spend extended periods of time on-site.
